  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 24 small mozzarella balls for eyes
  • 24 black olive slices for pupils
  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 equal-sized meatballs and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat; add the cooked meatballs to coat.
  5. Slice slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves on a baking dish. Place one meatball on each bun, top with cheese, and spoon extra marinara if desired.
  6. Cover with top bun halves and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley. Bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Decorate each slider with mozzarella balls as eyes topped with olive slices.
