  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, garam masala, turmeric, smoked paprika, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the mixture and coat them well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
